why we are here

Career & College Clubs believes the middle school space, that critical time when young people begin forming the attitudes, thought patterns, and work habits that they will carry through the rest of their lives, is a key leverage point: reaching students in the middle grades will have a positive impact for high school, college, and beyond.

We came to this belief through our work helping tens of thousands of high school and college students make sense of the college financial aid system. Through that experience, we came to understand that the junior or senior year of high school is just too late for students to start their postsecondary planning.

And that is why we created Career & College Clubs.

Our History

Career & College Clubs was developed in 2007 and operated for nine years by ALL Management Corporation, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit. in 2016, ALL Management Corporation transferred Career & College Clubs to the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP).

NCCEP is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to the fundamental principle that every child deserves an equal chance to obtain a high-quality education. NCCEP establishes community-education partnerships, strengthens research-based college access programs, and develops tools and resources to provide educational opportunities for all students.
